May 30:
Boost Your Social Media Presence (for artists and arts orgs), LMCC, 2nd fl, 6:30-8:30pm
Workshop on techniques and strategies to boost your social media presence for social media arts pros and noobs. With case studies from the Nuyorican Poets Cafe.
June 1:
Special TedXChelsea, School of Visual Arts, 12- 6:30 pm
With Aditya Julka (Paddle8), David Ross, Man Bartlett and other exciting speakers.
Also June 1st:NYU’s ITP camp begins! So many fun classes.
June 2:
Beyond Outreach: Museums, Audience, and Community, 4-6pm, 1125 Grand Concourse, Bronx
A panel on how museums can engage communities in innovative ways. With reps from the Bronx Museum of the Arts, Brooklyn Museum, Studio Museum of Harlem, Queens Museum of Art.
June 7 :
Sound art installation @ Eyebeam, Performance 7-8pm, Gallery hours 12-6pm
